De-Installation in Iowa

In October, our experienced biomedical engineering team de-installed a Siemens Perspective 64-Slice CT Scanner from its original location in Iowa. This meticulous process required precision and care to ensure the system’s components were safely removed and prepared for transport. The scanner was then shipped to our headquarters in Miami.

Refurbishment and Inspection in Miami

Upon arrival at our Miami facility, the CT scanner went through our detailed inspection and touch-up process. Key steps included:

• Refurbishment: Cleaning and reconditioning the scanner to restore it to like-new condition.

• Painting: Specific bed parts were repainted to enhance the scanner’s aesthetic appeal.

Installation in a Miami Diagnostic Center

After the refurbishment was complete, the scanner was transported to a diagnostic center in Miami, where our biomedical engineering team managed the installation process. From setup to calibration, the team ensured that the system was fully operational and ready to serve patients. The project was completed successfully, and the diagnostic center now benefits from a state-of-the-art imaging solution.
