Ferno Powerflexx+ Emergency Electronic Stretcher
The Ferno PowerFlexx system is a powered ambulance cot that lifts patients and helps to prevent injuries among the crew. The Ferno PowerFlexx system features a 700 lb unassisted lift capacity. Unlike traditional patient stretchers, this powered cot lifts the 700 lb weight, not the operator. This reduces situations where emergency care professionals might become injured or compromise the safety of the patient that they are transporting. This is an important thing to consider today, as roughly one third of the adult population in the U.S. is obese.  The EMS products and supplies used to treat obese patients must meet their needs just as efficiently and safely as they do for non-obese patients. The Ferno Large Body Surface (LBS) Area Transfer system attaches to the top of the PowerFlexx and increases the width of the cot to 34″ wide to accommodate larger patients, but still fits comfortably through a standard door opening.
This Stretcher is electric and also works with batteries to facilitate its operation and better mobility for both patients and operators.
